THE
Oryalis
A Rawkken can enter the Oryalis from anywhere in Aultora by saying a message, passed on to them by their Ancestors; ‘Ancestor’s, grant me passage’.
Once this is whispered, their horns glow and their bodies are taken into their realm; during which they can discover knowledge and happenings that might have occurred in the location they entered from. When they choose to leave their Realm they can do so via a Waypoint they create within the Oryalis upon entering, they will return in the same place they entered from in the world of the living.
Virgo
Virgo, once known as God to the Voma, is now God to the Rawkken having abandoned the Voma and gifted the Rawkken with Ethereal, the substance that allows Rawkken to enter the afterlife, the Oryalis, physically.
Whilst Virgo has supposedly never been seen, the legends tell of his lair deep within the Oryalis between the six territories where he guards and protects the afterlife.
However, whilst given the ideal that he is all caring and loving, he’s also been known as a trickster, toying with the fates of Aultora as he sees fit for his own entertainment.
The Oryalis Territories
The Spirit World has many names among the races of Aultora, The Abyss, The Embrace - but to the Rawkken - it’s known as the Oryalis.
The Oryalis is separated into different territories; Gold, Ruby, Jade, Amethyst, Amber and Rose - each of them named for the shade of their Ethereal Realm and each have their own Spiritual purpose and knowledge.
In the Oryallis, the Rawkken can commune with the Spirits of all races, to learn different knowledge they use in their daily lives for the good of their people. Below lists the Realm’s spirit types and the potential they hold for Rawkken with the blessing to enter their realm.
Amethyst
The Amethyst Realm is a territory of Spirits that are in touch with the world of the living, because of which their knowledge surrounds certain happenings they have witnessed in Aultora presently. Many Rawkken blessed with Amethyst Ethereal Horns, use this knowledge to pursue many different professions and passions. Such as; Spiritual counsels, druids, informa
Ruby
Those blessed with Ruby Ethereal Horns are able to enter a Ruby Realm within the Oryalis. Spirits of the arts inhabit this territory and provide knowledge of their pleasure to entertain others, such as; Dancers, Storytellers, Singers, Musicians etc. They use this knowledge to pursue similar professions and passions in their daily lives, entertaining many with the ancient stories, songs and performances.
Gold
The Gold Realm is a territory of Spirits that are obsessed with Beauty, because of which their knowledge surrounds certain aspects that define their need for beauty. Such as; Undiscovered corners of Aultora that remain untouched, flowers, paintings, hidden treasures etc. Many Rawkken blessed with Gold Ethereal Horns, use this knowledge to pursue many different professions and passions. Such as; treasure hunters, painters, cartographers, designers, botanists and many more.
Amber
Those blessed with Amber Ethereal Horns are able to enter a Amber Realm within the Oryalis. Spirits of fighters, tacticians and war heros inhabit this territory, and provide a knowledge of their experience, such as; Soldiers, Martial Art Techniques, tactics on the battlefield etc. They use this knowledge to pursue similar professions and passions in their daily lives, whether it be to train as a deadly fighter or use war tactics to become ruthless Merchants in the trade business.
Rose
The Rose Realm is a territory of Spirits that have hearts of gold, their knowledge surrounds their experiences of loving, caring and healing many in their previous life, whether it be as a mother or a lover. Many Rawkken blessed with Rose Ethereal Horns, use this knowledge to pursue many different professions and passions. Such as; Carers, healers, teachers, alchemists and many more.
Jade
The Jade Realm is blessed to members of the Royal bloodline - the Ancestors of the Royal Jade Empire recognise the soul of their family when produced before the Ancestral tree. Being blessed with this Realm - allows them to counsel with their Ancestors, seeking guidance in hours of need, grand decisions that can result in many outcomes, or even advise on how to rule the city.
Quartz
Those who choose not to be blessed with an Oryalis Realm, remain as Quartz - this means they have no connection to the Spirit world and are free to pursue a profession of their choosing without the influence of a spiritual connection.
Abandoned
Every race isn't without their criminals, those who misuse knowledge from the Oryalis Chronicles, or mistreat the Spirits are banished by them from their Realm. This act causes a Rawkken’s Ethereal horns to turn black, and are no longer able to enter the Oryalis - they are usually also banished from the Opal Gardens Realm as punishment for their crime. Rawkken who have been banished from the Oryalis and the Jaded City are called, ‘The Abandoned Ones’.
